About Masalegar Law Reporter

Editorial judicial reporting and case summaries across India since 2026.

Who We Are

Masalegar Law Reporter (MLR) is a modern legal reporting journal established on 17th June 2026 in Kurnool City, Andhra Pradesh. We provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive coverage of judicial decisions across India's Supreme Court, High Courts, and major Tribunals.

MLR was founded on the vision of democratising access to legal information — making every significant judgement and order freely searchable and accessible to advocates, litigants, and researchers nationwide.

Our editorial staff and reporters document rulings, write concise case summaries, extract key holdings, and link reports to source court records when available.

Our Mission

To empower the legal community in India by offering a searchable, accessible, and structured repository of case law. We believe that justice begins with access to information. A well-informed bar is a stronger bar, and a stronger bar ensures robust justice for all citizens.

Founder & Institutional Affiliations

Masalegar Law Reporter was established under the leadership of its founder, Masalegar Hidayathulla, an LLB graduate from the prestigious Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU). Masalegar Hidayathulla created this platform as part of a wider educational and advisory ecosystem to support legal professionals and students.

This collaborative network includes two key sister organizations:

  • Masalegar Legal Clinic: An initiative designed to support junior legal practitioners and law graduates who lack support and practical guidance in district courts. The clinic runs legal awareness drives, court room practice workshops, and legal educational podcasts.
  • Masalegar Judicial Academy: Launched on 28th June 2026, providing comprehensive academic support, prep courses, and systematic training sessions for judicial exam aspirants.
